On May 20th, Andreas Blindow,Chairman of DIPLOMA Fachhochschule Nordhessen and Michaela Zilling, President of DIPLOMA Fachhochschule Nordhessen, and other 5 representatives in the delegation visited HUT and met with Tan Yimin, President of HUT and Fan Xiaoyang, Vice President of HUT for further cooperation. The leaders from Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, Office of Academic Affairs and the Finance Office took part in the meeting.
President Tan Yimin welcomed the delegation led by Andreas Blindow and Michaela Zilling, and reviewed his visit to DIPLOMA Fachhochschule Nordhessen in Germany last May. He fully affirmed the consensus on the cooperation between the two sides in engineering. The two presidents introduced the latest development, international education, features on talent cultivation and inter-school cooperationwitheach other. The two sides agreed that the two universities have similarities in many fields, especially in promoting the internationalization of education, the integration of production,teachingand research, and the advantages of the engineering field, and agreed thatshould befurther strengthenedcollaborations and accelerate cooperation between the two universities.
Further discussions were carried on the collaboration framework and the establishment of joint-programs. Both parties agreed on the joint training of mechanical manufacturing andmechatronics talents. The next step will be to set up a comprehensive cooperation plan according to the meeting, and carry out the plan to promote the substantial cooperation.
